Why we collect birthday
We collect birthday to confirm age in order to use our provided services. We require people to be at least 16 years old to create a Teammates App account. We do not provide our Ōnin recruiters with your age and comply with EEOC guidelines.
Birthday may also be used for legal documentation within the onboarding process.
Why we collect gender
We collect gender for EEO reporting purposes. You are not required to provide us with your gender - please select “Rather not say” to opt out. We do not provide our Ōnin recruiters with your gender and comply with EEOC guidelines.
We may also use your gender if you decide to enroll into our medical benefits.
Your answers to these demographic questions (race, gender, age, etc.) are kept separate from the rest of the application.
